Artisan Glycerin Soaps – Our individually created Artisan Glycerin soaps are made from a detergent free, goats milk base that is gentle on your skin. Each soap is intended to create not only a great bath, but a bit of a story to go along with it. Artwork. I have ordered these types of soaps from large companies and to my dismay, I could not use it because it made my skin break out in a rash. Since we don't do rashes, I decided to read the label. It was after all, *natural*. Turns out, it contained a rather high content of sodium. What was it for? Well, it extracts the glycerin. What does glycerin do? Moisturize. So, rather than use a *non* natural means of extracting the glycerin [translated, remove the moisture] they used salt and called it natural. Tsk tsk tsk. Lather & Lace won’t do that to you.
